Angela Faith Snipes

Angela F. Snipes, age 57, resident of Shelby died Friday April 7, 2017 in Fisher Tiitus Medical  Center in Norwalk. Born January 29, 1960 in Shelby to John C. and Barbara (Staton) Lykins she had been a Shelby resident the majority of her life. 

Angela enjoyed reading, singing and playing the keyboard and spending time with her grandchildren. 

Surviving are her children Andrew C. Snipes of N. Carolina, Amanda R. (Dennis) Laferty of Tiro, Adam (Robin) Snipes, Aaron Snipes and Autumn Douglas all of Shelby; eleven grandchildren; her mother Barb Lykins of  Shelby; three brothers John Lykins, Steve (Kim) Lykins, Joe (Pam) Lykins all of Shelby; aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and other relatives.  

She was preceded in death by  her husband Kim Douglas and her father John C. Lykins. 

Funeral services will be held 12:00 PM Tuesday April 11, 2017 from the Barkdull Funeral Home in Shelby. Reverend S. T. Adkins will officiate with interment in Oakland Cemetery Shelby. Friends may call at the funeral home Tuesday from 10:00 to 12:00 PM. Memorial expressions may be made in care of the family.
