Carol A Broderick

Carol A. Broderick, age70, resident of Shelby, died Tuesday July 14, 2015 at Crestwood Care Center.

Born November 12, 1944 in Shelby she was the daughter of Clyde and Eileen (Biglin) Huggins, she was a lifelong Shelby resident.  

A 1962 graduate of Shelby High School, she had been a homemaker all of her life.  Carol enjoyed sewing, painting and especially loved spending time with her family and friends.

Survivors include her children, Randy (Raychel) Broderick of Shelby; Alicia Broderick (Mike Conaway) of Union, NJ and Mike (Holly Barrett Brzozowski) Broderick of Shelby; four grandchildren, Alec and Clay Broderick; Nicholas and Lauren Conaway; brother, Vince Huggins of Galion and numerous nieces, nephews, and other relatives.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of 45 years, John Broderick, in 2009.

Funeral services will be held 10:30 AM Saturday, July 18 2015 from Barkdull Funeral Home. Father Jim Sanford will officiate with interment to follow in Most Pure Heart of Mary Cemetery.  Friends may call at the funeral home Friday from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM, with a prayer service following.  Memorial expressions may be made to The Shelby Foundation.
