Donna Wondrash

Donna E. Wondrash, age 88, resident of Shelby passed away Tuesday morning, December 19, 2017 at Crestwood Care Center. 

Born March 24, 1929 to Dewey A Picking and Irma (Weller) Picking, she had been a lifelong Shelby resident.

On June 7, 1952, she married Frederick Wondrash. They were married for 64 years until Fred's passing in 2016. Donna was a member of the Mansfield Deaf Club and was baptized and attended the Mansfield Assembly of God.  Upon Donna's retirement from the former Essex Wire, she & Fred enjoyed traveling and visiting various sites and family. Most of all she loved spending time with her friends and family. Donna liked making needle point on plastic canvases and giving them as gifts. Her favorite past time was  playing Rummy and Sequence.

She is survived by her children, Rosemarie Cline, Roselyn (Jamie) Ramey and Marilyn (Jim) McKinney all of Shelby and Mark (Valerie) Wondrash of Ashland, OH; five grandchildren Scott Bryant, Tracy (Andre) Cochran, Barry Cline, Jamie (Michelle Glaze) Ramey, Jr. and Monica (Chris Shoemaker) Ramey; seven great grandchildren Cassandra, Deidra, Andrea and Dakota Ramey, Tresten Archer, Amaria Cameron and Madeline Biedrzycki; seven step-grandchildren, eight step great grandchildren and two step great-great grandchildren; sister-in-law Edna Picking of Shelby; nieces, nephews and other relatives. 

In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by her two brothers Virgil and Charles Picking, son-in-law David Cline, sister-in-law Eva Picking , nephew David Picking and beloved pets Blackie and Tammy.

Funeral services will be held Saturday, December 23, 2017 at 12:00 PM from the Barkdull Funeral Home & Crematory in Shelby. Pastor Fred Bleck will officiate with interment in Oakland Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home Saturday from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM.
