Fae Elsie Ann Pitsch, age 91 of Shelby died Saturday morning, February 10, 2018 at home.
Born November, 30, 1926 in Alaska, Michigan to Henry & Clara (Rivard) Rich, she has been a Shelby resident since 1958 and had lived for many years in Port Clinton and Venive, Florida. A 1945 graduate of Caledonia High School, she had worked for R.C. Allen Co in Grand Rapids and then moved to Shelby and worked at the Shelby Rhythm Bowl.
Fae was a member of the Most Pure Heart of Mary Catholic Church and was very active. Fae enjoyed bowling in the ladies and mixed leagues, loved working with ceramics and had taught ceramics to elementary students. She also enjoyed camping, fishing and hunting.
She is survived by her children, Leonard Pitsch of Shelby, Chuck Pitsch of Conway, AK, Dennis Pitsch of Shelby; grandchildren, Matt Pitsch, Jennifer Sammeroff, Hillary White, Zachary Pitsch and Carri Ann Pitsch; five great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Chuck Pitsch; infant son, Michael Pitsch; brothers, Gilbert, Edward, Louis Bob and Bill Rich; sisters, Belle Cole, Marge Griffin and Betty Bonfitto.
Friends may call at the Barkdull Funeral Home & Crematory in Shelby Monday, February 12, 2018 from 4:00 to 6:00 PM. A Funeral service will be 11:00 AM Tuesday at the funeral home. Father Chris Mileski will officiate with interment held at a later date.
