Helen Elizabeth Steele

Helen Elizabeth Steele, age 92, died Saturday, February 18, 2017 at Crestwood Care Center in Shelby.

She was born July 22, 1924 near Bucyrus to Joseph & Addie Mae (Rice) Steele. She was a Shelby resident for many years and was a graduate of Shelby High School. She was formerly employed with Shelby Metal Products and as well as the Shelby Gum Company. Helen was a member of the First United Church of Christ.

Surviving are several nieces and nephews. 

She was preceded in death by two sisters, Alice Guyette and Irene Rutan and one brother, Robert Steele.

 Private interment will be held in Oakwood Cemetery in Bucyrus, Ohio.  Barkdull Funeral Home & Crematory is assisting the family with arrangements.
