Mary Louise Winans

Mary Louise Winans, age 72 of Shelby passed away March 7, 2017 at her  home surrounded by her loving family. Born August 21, 1944 in Fostoria, Ohio to August "Red" and Margaret Huether, she has been a Shelby resident since 1992. Mary graduated from St. Wendlin High School class of 1963. She was a very loving mother and grandmother. 

Mary loved spending time with her children and grandchildren, sewing, doing word puzzles, watching Wheel of Fortune and the Price is Right.

Survivors include her children Mark Winans of Oklahoma, Brian Winans of Fostoria, Ohio, Dave Winans of Squim, Washington, Teresa Risner of Shelby, Jim Winans of Oklahoma, Deb (Tim) Burkhalter of Lexington, Becky Stamper of  Shelby, and Jim Stamper II of Mansfield; nineteen grandchildren and six great-grandchildren; brother Joe Huether and sister Kay Pahl.  

In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her son Chris Winans and brother Ray Huether.

Friends and family may call Thursday, March 9th from 6-8 PM at Barkdull Funeral Home & Crematory.  Memorial Contributions may be made in Mary's honor to the American Cancer Society.
