Michael L. Cole

Michael L. Cole, age 72, resident of Tiro, died Thursday, June 16, 2016 in his home.

Born April 29, 1944 in Ansted, WV to Dorothy (Cole) Legg he was a resident of Tiro for the past forty five years. He was a veteran of the US Army and was a member of the Crouse Memorial Lutheran Church in Tiro.  Michael was employed as a machinist with Bunting Bearings. He enjoyed fishing and hunting, gardening, boating, camping, snowmobiling and traveling. 

He is survived by his children Ricky Dean Anderson of San Antonio, TX and Kelly (Bridgette) Cole of West Jefferson, OH,  eleven grandchildren; thirteen great-grandchildren; one brother Roger (Annette) Legg of Buffalo, NY, two sisters Cora Cooper of Ansted, WV and Mary (David) Crist, Lookout, WV., nieces, nephews and other relatives.   

In addition to his mother Dorothy, he was preceded in death by his Step-father Harry Legg, wife Carol (Anderson) Cole, son Michael "Mickey" Cole; and daughter Linda Whitfield. 

Graveside services will be held 10:00AM Monday June 20, 2016 in Tiro Oakland Cemetery. Pastor Walter Jones will officiate.  Calling hours will not be observed. Barkdull funeral Home & Crematory in Shelby is assisting the family with arrangements.
