Pamela J. Kempf, age 62, of Lexington, died Tuesday afternoon, January 17, 2017, at Ohio Health in Mansfield.
Born May 27, 1954, in Mansfield to Ralph Berry & Bernice (Pryor) Jewell, she was a longtime resident of Shelby. Pamela was a 1972 graduate of Shelby High School and was a homemaker the majority of her life.
She was a member of the Multiple Sclerosis Society and loved to play bingo.
She is survived by her husband, Melvin Kempf, whom she married October 7, 1972; one son, Matthew (Fiancé, Elisha Rapson) Kempf of New Haven; one daughter, Amanda (Jeff) Schaub of Lexington; her mother, Bernice Jewell of St. Petersburg, FL; six grandchildren, Sebrina and Sydney Kempf, Hunter Heath, Zachary Cartee, Taylor & Noah Schaub; one great-grandson, Mekhi Schaub; sister, Barbara (Bruce) Davis of Broken Arrow, OK; and brother, Paul (Kathy) Jewell of Mason.
She was preceded in death by her father; step-father, George Jewell; and one brother, Jack Berry.
Funeral service will be held at 1:00 PM Saturday, January 21, 2017, at the Barkdull Funeral Home & Crematory. Pastor Russel Yoak and Bruce Davis will officiate with interment held in the Most Pure Heart of Mary Catholic Cemetery. Friends may call Saturday from 11:00AM until 1:00PM. Memorial expressions may be made to the Multiple Sclerosis Society.
