Raymond W. Everett

Raymond W. Everett, age 94, resident of  Galion died Friday February 24, 2017 in the Ohio Veterans Home in Sandusky. 

Born June 3, 1922 in Bittinger, Maryland to Aaron and Naomi (Louk) Everett, he had lived most of his life in southern Ohio. A veteran of the U.S. Army, he served in Europe during WW II. Raymond collected old coins and stamps and enjoyed hunting.

Survivors include one sister, Pat Archer,one brother Joseph Everett of Maryland; neices, nephews, and other relatives. 

 He was preceded in death by his parents, six brothers and four sisters.

Private graveside services will be held in Hillcrest Memorial Gardens, Wadsworth, Ohio. Calling hours will not be observed. Barkdull Funeral Home in Shelby is assisting the family.
