|Betty Ann Mosley, age 80, resident of Shelby, died Sunday, December 8, 2013 at her home following an extended illness.
Born October 18, 1933 in Knott County, Kentucky to Preston and Essie (Little) Schrader she had been a Shelby resident the majority of her life. She was employed with Pioneer Rubber Co. and retired from Brunswick Defense in Willard. Betty was affiliated with the Freewill Baptist Church. She enjoyed flower gardening and cherished the time spent with her family.
Survivors include her husband, Alger Mosley, whom she wed March 15, 1957; five children, Phyllis Manns of Shelby, Barb (Dave) Fisher of Shelby, Tammy (Terry) Moyer of Crestline, Steven (Teresa) Mosley of Sylvania, Ohio and Don (Brenda) Mosley of Peoria, Arizona; 13 grandchildren, 24 great grandchildren, three brothers, Bill (Phyllis) Schrader of Willard, Ed Ray (Bernadine) Schrader of Auxier, Kentucky, Jimmy (Tommie) Schrader of Jaytown, Kentucky, her brother-in-law, Charles Simmons of Shelbyville, Kentucky, nieces, nephews and other relatives.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her son, Danny Manns; grandson, Ryan Hunt; one sister, Mary Kay Simmons and brother, Kelly Schrader.
Funeral services will be held 10:30 AM Friday, December 13, 2013 at the Barkdull Funeral Home in Shelby. Reverend Herman Copley will officiate with interment in Oakland Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home Thursday from 4:00 to 7:00 PM. Memorial contributions may be made to the MedCentral Hospice, 1020 Cricket Lane, Mansfield, OH 44906.
