Eric A. Barkdull

Owner/Funeral Director/Embalmer

Eric is a lifelong Shelby resident and a 1972 graduate of Shelby Senior High School. He attended Ohio State University and Cincinnati College of Mortuary Science and has been a licensed funeral director since 1976. He is a member of the Ohio Funeral Directors Association and is past president of OFDA District #2. Eric is a member of the First Presbyterian Church, Shelby Rotary Club, Shelby Ad Club, Shelby Masonic Lodge #350 F&AM, and R.A.M. #178. Eric and his wife, Sharon, have two children. Eric enjoys music performance, skiing and tinkering with cars.

Lesli Neal

Lesli Barkdull Neal

Owner/Funeral Director

Lesli attended the Columbus Technical Institute and has been a licensed Funeral Director since 1987. She is a member of the Ohio Funeral Directors Association, the International Order of the Golden Rule and is a trustee for the Shelby Foundation. She is a member of the First Lutheran Church in Shelby, where she enjoys playing in the bell choir. Lesli has two children and enjoys spending time with her family, snow skiing and motorcycling.

Michael (Mike) Lancaster

Embalmer/Funeral Director

Michael S. Lancaster attended the Cincinnati College of Mortuary Science and has been a licensed Funeral Director and Embalmer since 1994. Mike lives in Crestline with his wife and two step-daughters and enjoys hunting and other outdoor activities.

William (Bill) Neal

Office/Technical Specialist/Monument Sales

Bill grew up in the Mansfield area and is a 1979 graduate of Madison Comprehensive High School. He began working full-time for BFH in April 2006 after working in the telecommunications, software and retail industries. He served as treasurer and president of Shelby Kiwanis, is a member of Shelby Athletic Club and has been a volunteer for the Mansfield Mehock Relays since 1989. Bill has three children, Clay, Austin and Shelby, and enjoys motorcycling, travel, photography, and visiting with family and friends.
