Betty Lou Wamsley, age 73, of Mansfield passed away on June 29, 2018 at Ohio Health Mansfield surrounded by her loving family.
She was born on February 28, 1945 to Harry and Minnie (Sharp) Shearer in Marlinton, WV. Betty was a waitress and a home health aid. She worked at Red Lobster for 23 years.
Betty had a strong spiritual connection with God. She lived for her family, loving to cook and clean, she never met a stranger. One of her favorite places to visit was the lighthouse at Marblehead with Boyd.
She is survived by her life partner Boyd Anthony; son Gary Lee Wamsley of Mansfield and daughter Patricia (Rob) Bailey of Shelby; grandchildren Myranda Wamsley (Chris Levens) of New Mexico, Mason Oyster of Shelby, Heath Bailey of Willard, Zoey Wamsley and Zander Wamsley of Texas; great granddaughter Emberlynn Ward and Gabriel Levens ; brothers Junior and Clarence (Maxine) Shearer; sister Oletta Sharp; niece Karen (Deno) Underwood of Mansfield, and many other nieces, nephews.
In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by sisters Jean Shearer Friel, Grace Shearer Miller, Rachael Sharp Potter, Dorothy Shearer and Sally Shearer; brothers Russell Sharp, Raleigh Sharp, and Ralph Sharp.
Funeral Services will be held at a later date.
