Billy P. Wright

Billy P. Wright, age 92 , resident of Shelby passed away on June 26, 2018 at Crestwood Care Center . 
Born September 25, 1925 in Shinnstown, West Virginia to Albert and Ora (Pryor) Wright. He had been a Shelby resident since 1956.  He was employed with Ohio Seamless Tube, retiring in 1987. He was a member of First United Church of Christ, member and past master of the Masonic Lodge 350 F&AM, Chapter #176, Council #94, past Commander and member of Commandery #21, Knight of Honor of the York Cross, Mansfield, Galion and Bucyrus Shrine Club, Richland County Scottish Rite Association, Aladdin Shrine of Columbus, past Ambassador of AASR Valley of Columbus, was member and past Monarch of the Baku Grotto, Knight Mason and past Sovereign Master of the Council of the Allied Masonic Degree, Knights Mason and Past Exellent Chief of Crawford County #82, member of Angola Yeomen of York and was a Kentucky Colonel.  
Surviving is his son Kenneth Wright of Shelby, nieces, nephews and other relatives.
In addition to his parents Billy was preceded in death by his wife Ruth Wright, whom he married in 1951, four brothers; Robert, Chester, Brooks and Russell Wright, daughter Karen Wright, and daughter-in-law Lora Wright. 
Friends may call at the Barkdull Funeral Home & Crematory on Sunday, July 1, 2018 from 1:00-3:00 PM. A Masonic Service will be held at the conclusion of calling hours. A funeral service will be held Monday at 11:00 AM. Pastor James Robinson will officiating with interment in the Masonic Section of Mansfield Memorial Park Cemetery.
