Carmnella Jean (Roth) Hall-Cook, age 73 of Shelby died Saturday evening, May 27, 2017 at her home surrounded by her family.
Born December 4, 1943 in Washington Court House to Pearl & Dorothy (Humphreys) Roth, she had been a Shelby resident the majority of her life. A graduate of Pioneer Career & Technology Center, she had worked as a Home Health Aide, retiring from Caring For You Home Health Care.
Carmnella was a member of the Temple of Faith Church in Shelby.
Family was of the utmost importance to Carmnella, She was the matriarch and the glue that held everyone together.
She is survived by her three children, Chad Hall of Marion, Jo Ann Krausman of Shelby and Carol (Brian) Finnegan of Crestline; seven grandchildren, Zachary Robert Krausman, Caulin Patrick Finnegan, Connor Riley Finnegan, Dylan Michael Finnegan, Ian Francis Finnegan, Cara Nichole Hall and Austin J. Hall; two siblings, Christeen Drake of Wallingford, KY and Herman Roth of Ironton; special niece, Kathy (John) Zachariah and special nephews, Richard Dyer and Eugene (Penny) Drake and her faithful companion, "Lady".
She was preceded in death by her parents; 1st husband, Robert William Hall, 2nd husband, Clifford Edward Cook; two children, Robert William Hall II and Charlene Beatrice Hall; seven siblings, Curt Roth, Richard Dyer, Deloris Drake, Vernon Dyer, Austin Roth, Hellen Picklesimer and Faye Gallion.
A private family funeral service will be held. Friends may call from 5:00 to 8:00 PM on Tuesday, May 30, 2017 at the Barkdull Funeral Home & Crematory in Shelby.
In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the Sacred Heart Catholic School at 5754 State Route 61 S., Shelby, OH 44875.
