Carol Keiser Obituary

Carol Ann Keiser, age 81, resident of Shelby died Wednesday August 28, 2019 at her home.

Born on October 5, 1937 in Fayette County Illinois to Everette S. and Olive M. (Grant) Watson, she was a Shelby resident since 1954. She was a 1954 graduate of Brownstown High School and  was a wonderful homemaker for her husband and children. When her children were in high school she was employed as a receptionist for Dr. Villao's office in Shelby for several years. Carol enjoyed sewing, working jigsaw and crossword puzzles, reading and using her IPad. Most importantly, she cherished spending time with her family.

She is survived by her beloved husband Don Keiser, whom she wed on October 13, 1956; her children, LeeAnn (Dan) Brubaker, Brenda Prack and Rob (Marlene) Keiser; four grandchildren, Brandy (Jamie)Yowell, Melissa, Michelle and Geoff Prack; great-grandchildren, Lauren Fisher, Cameron Moffit, Brynn Prack, Andrew, Ali and Emmy Yowell; siblings Max Watson, Louella Keith, Robert Watson and Jan (Albert) Niemeyer; brothers in law, Larry (Mary Jane) Keiser and Jerry (Kathy) Keiser all of Shelby; numerous nieces, nephews and other relatives.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by three brothers Marshall, Ernest and Revis Watson; three sisters, Catherine Rogers, Velma Watson and Marge Watson.

Per Carol's request, there will be no calling hours. Her wishes were that everyone remember her as they knew her. Her family hopes that you would hold her in your heart as you remember her in your own special way. A private gathering will be held at a later date.

Memorial contributions can be made to the Shelby Whippet Athletic Boosters in care of:  Cathy Dodge, 145 Mansfield Ave., Apt. 7, Shelby, OH 44875.
