I am sorry to hear about your dad's death. And I always enjoyed your mom too, and know it will be different now for you and your family. You and I will share the passing of our dad's at the same time, as we had my dad's funeral service yesterday too. I will keep you in my thoughts and prayers.

I first met Dean through the Kiwanis Club of Shelby. I always enjoyed his easy manner and great sense of humor. We played together in a Kiwanis golf outing once. We used some unusual rules in our outings including having the ability to kick your ball twice during the round. Dean kicked a ball that was on the fringe of the green about 90 feet from the hole. It trickled and trickled seemingly forever and after taking a break of about 6 feet landed squarely in the hole. I have never heard anyone laugh so hard as Dean did that day. Rest in peace my friend.
