James Bernard Fromm

James B. Fromm, age 50, resident of Shelby died Wednesday morning October 4, 2017 at the Cleveland Veterans Hospital.

Born February 21, 1967 in Shelby to Ardith (Fromm) Hutson and Robert Keller he had been a Shelby resident the majority of his life. A 1986 graduate of Shelby High School he had worked at various auto shops as an auto body technician. James was a veteran of the U.S. Army serving during the Gulf War. He was a former member of the Shelby V.F.W.Post 291 and enjoyed fishing and hunting.

He is survived by four children Amber Fromm and James Fromm Jr. all of Valdosta, Ga., Andrew Fromm and Allison Fromm both of Mansfield; seven grandchildren, Cole Fromm, Cassandra Smith, Collins "Chunky" Smith, Aireahna Fromm, Brentley Southard, Braydan Engler, Zane Wert; his mother Ardith (Bill) Hutson of Shelby; two brothers, Carl Fromm and Everette (Beatrice) Keller both of Shelby; three sisters, Jennie Touchton of Valdosta, GA. and Bonnie (Doug) Hicks of Shelby, Joy Sexton of Shelby; five half brothers, Rick (Elaine) Keller, Robert (Kelli) Keller and Randy Keller, all of Morehead, KY., Timmy Keller of Mt. Sterling, KY., and Brian (Amanda) Keller of W. Liberty, KY.; two step brothers, William "Buddy" Hutson of Ohio and Robert Hutson of TN.; four step sisters, Cheryl Arms of Shelby, Michelle (Matt) Todd of FL., Norma Maddox of TN. and Barb (Robert) Keeton of Galion; his uncle Kenneth Fromm of Shelby; nieces, nephews and other relatives.

He was preceded in death by his grandparents Everette and Flo Fromm, his step father Robert Keller and two brothers Phillip Dean and Jerry Keller.

Funeral services will be held 1:00 PM Saturday, October 7, 2017 at the Barkdull Funeral Home and Crematory in Shelby. Pastor Ethan Boggs will officiate with interment and full military honors held in Oakland Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home 2:00 to 4:00 PM and 6:00 to 8:00 PM Friday, October 6, 2017.
