Janet M. Fry

Janet M. Fry age 77, resident of Shelby died Friday, May 26, 2017 in Crestwood Care Center in Shelby.  

Born January 29, 1940 in Shelby to Richard and Catherine (Heiland) Shupp, she had been a lifelong Shelby resident. A member of the Most Pure Heart of Mary Catholic Church, Janet enjoyed knitting and crocheting as well as gardening. Most of all she loved spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. 

Janet is survived by her husband, Donald Fry Sr., whom she wed October 20, 1962; one son, Donald Fry Jr. of Shelby; two grandchildren, Jolene (Adam) Arms, Danielle Foster; seven great-grandchildren, Alexis, Alissa, Alania, Aydan, Kaylie, Waylon and Nelson; one sister Jeanette (John) Gwirtz of Shelby, and one brother, Richard (Evelyn) Shupp of Port Clinton.

In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her son Daniel Fry and sister Beverly Dunn.

Funeral service will be held at 11:00 AM Wednesday, May 31, 2017 from the Barkdull Funeral Home & Crematory in Shelby. Father Chris Mileski will officiate with interment held in the Most Pure Heart of Mary Catholic Cemetery.  Friends may call at the funeral home Wednesday from 10:00 to 11:00 AM.
