Janice L. Berry

Janice L. Berry, age 78, of Shelby went home to the loving arms of her Savior and her one true love on Friday morning February 2, 2018 at Ohio Health Shelby.

Born February 14, 1939 in Frenchburg, KY to Courtney & Rhoda (Shrout) Holland, she has been a Shelby resident since 1955. Janice had worked for MTD for 34 years retiring in 2003. She was a member of the United Baptist Church of Tiro and loved flowers and gardening but most of all loved spending time with her grandchildren and great grandchildren.

She is survived by one son, Michael (Deb) Berry of Shelby; one daughter, Cheryl (Ralph) Perry of Mt. Gilead; four grandchildren, Shane (Jess) Berry, Amy (Harvy) Clevenger, Scott (Jennifer) Berry and Rachel (Chad) Ferrington; eight great grandchildren, Drayton, Corbin, Gauge, Hunter, Abram, Madalynn, Caden and Alexis and four brothers, Bud (Jo), Tom, Gary (Eddie Carroll) and Barry (Bridget) Holland.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband Virgil Berry in January of 2017 and two brothers, Darrell Randolff and Larry Holland.

Friends may call at the Barkdull Funeral Home & Crematory on Monday February 5, 2018 from 5-8 PM. Funeral service will be held at 11:00 AM Tuesday at the funeral home conducted by Pastor Matt Pond. Interment will be held in Oakland Cemetery. Memorial expressions may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38015.
