Jerry J. Hanlon, age 75, resident of Shelby, Ohio died Monday, December 10, 2018 at her daughters residence.
Born April 18, 1943 in Cleveland, Tennessee to Warren & Florence (Mills) Branam, she had been a Shelby-Tiro area resident the majority of her life, moving to Galion in 2002. Jerry was a graduate of Crestline High School. She had been employed for 25 years at the former North Electric in Galion before her retirement. Mrs. Hanlon enjoyed crocheting and flower gardening.
Survivors include one daughter and son in law, Michele & Robert Weaver of Shelby; one son and daughter-in-law, Michael & Chris Hanlon of Springfield, Missouri; eight grandchildren, Zachary & Philip Weaver, Ashley, Hunter, Allison, Cody, Austin & Christa Byanna Hanlon; five brothers, Howard Branam of Georgia, Warren Branam, Jr. of Galion, Randall Branam of Galion, Ronnie Branam of Georgia and Frankie Branam of Georgia; one sister, Mary Goin of Galion; nieces, nephews and other relatives.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband LeRoy in 1999, two brothers, Lester & Claude Branam and one sister, Reva Brown.
Funeral services will be held at 12:00PM Thursday, December 13, 2018 at the Barkdull Funeral Home & Crematory in Shelby. Sister Barb Weaver will officiate with interment in Oakland Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home from 10:00 AM-12:00 PM
Memorial contributions may be made to the Hanlon Family to help defray some of Jerry's hospital expenses.
