Keith Allen Clawson, age 88, of Shelby died Wednesday morning January 30, 2019 at home.

Born April 29, 1930 to James B. & Thelma B. Black (Clawson) (Shell), he has been a Shelby resident the majority of his life. Keith was a 1949 graduate of Tiro High School then he had served his country for 3 years in the National Guard with the Battery A 1st Rkt-How Bn. 136th Artillery. Keith and his wife were the owner/operators of Accura-Print in Willard for 16 years, prior to that he had worked as an independent truck driver for TransInternational Systems in Columbus from 1981-1988 and also worked at Shelby Sales Book for 30 years.

He is survived by his wife of 39 years, Carla (Carey) Clawson; his children, William Clawson, Patricia (Charles) Woodmansee, Larry (Nancy) Clawson, Rachelle Schwall and Ryan Clawson; ten grandchildren, two great and one great great granddaughter; two brothers, Joe (Betty) Shell and Mike Shell, two sisters-in-law, Diane Shell and Lucille Clawson; brother-in-law, Robert Wurm, his former wife, Shirley Clawson and his extended family, Rachel Palmer, Matt Hasek and Mike Schwall.

He was preceded in death by his parents; step father, Joe Shell; brothers, Robert and John Shell; sister, Carol Wurm and granddaughter, Katrina Gibson.

Private family services were held at the funeral home.
