Kenneth E. Hanlon, age 81, resident of Bucyrus and former resident of Tiro, died Wednesday, July 24, 2019 at the Heartland Nursing home in Bucyrus.
Born Sept. 6, 1937 in Shelby to the late Roy & Fannie (Hartz) Hanlon, he was a Shelby-Tiro resident all of his life. He was employed with Fairway Waycraft Industries of Crawford County.
Kenneth enjoyed wood working, watching birds and building them birdhouses, he loved being outdoors and gardening.
Survivors include three sisters, Jean (John) Wallace and Joann (Don) Bishop, both of Shelby, and Carol Williams of Willard; nieces, nephews, and other relatives.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by three brothers, LeRoy Hanlon, Donald Hanlon, Ron Hanlon; three sisters Lois Nye, Marilyn Harris, Marguerite Rollins; sister-in-law Marjorie Hanlon and two brothers-in-law Milford Williams and Don Harris.
Friends may call at the Barkdull Funeral Home & Crematory Monday, July 29, 2019 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM. A funeral service will follow at 12:00 PM. Father Chirs Mileski will officiate with interment in Oakland Cemetery.
