Larry L Bebow

Larry L. Bebow, age 82, died Sunday, February 4, 2018 at Ohio Health Shelby Hospital.

Born January 2, 1936 in Oak Harbor to Ernest and Marie (Neuman) Bebow, he had been a Shelby resident since 1963. Larry had worked for Myca Products for several years before working for the Ohio Steel Tube, retiring in 1998.

Larry was an active member of the First Lutheran Church and he and his wife, Hazel participated in a marriage encounter group. He enjoyed camping, woodworking, the company of his dog, Lady and above all cherished the time spent with his family.

He is survived by his wife of 58 years, Hazel (Shull) Bebow, whom he wed April 4, 1959; children, David (Beth) Bebow of Norwalk, Sandra (Matt) Cornett of Crestline, Susan (Scott) Sheaffer of Shelby, Daniel Bebow of Columbus; grandchildren, Angelica, Brandon, Michael, Tyler, Debbie, Kelly, Morgan, Emily, Noah; six great-grandchildren; one great grandson and great granddaughter on the way; sister, Elaine Young of Oak Harbor, nieces, nephews and other relatives.

In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his brother Robert Bebow; infant great grandson Andrew Beck and infant great grandchild.

Funeral services will be held 12:00 PM on Friday, February 9, 2018 at the First Lutheran Church at 33 Broadway St, Shelby, OH 44875. Pastor Russel Yoak will officiate with interment held in Oakland Cemetery. Friends may call at the church Friday two hours prior from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM.
