Lucinda Kershner

Lucinda "Cindy" Kershner age 62, died Saturday, April 6, 2019 at Riverside Methodist Hospital in Columbus. 

Born May 27, 1956 in Ashland to Sheldon and Pauline (Meng) Eggerton Jr., she had been a life long Ashland resident. A 1974 graduate of Ashland High School, she had previously worked at Payless Shoes in Ashland as well as Gerwigs White Barn. 

Lucinda enjoyed listening to music and singing in church choirs. She loved tulips, cooking and canning as well as playing bingo.

She is survived by her three children Joshua (Brandy) Jones of Corydon, IN, Noah (Adrienne) Jones of Ashland, Shelby Jones of Ashland; three grandchildren; mother Pauline Eggerton of Ashland; sister Diana (David) Caley of Ashland; her beloved dog and fuzzy companion Liza; numerous nieces, nephews and other relatives.

Lucinda was preceded in death by her father, Sheldon Eggerton Jr. in 1994 and her cousin and best friend, Bobby Deibler, Jr. in 2012.

A graveside service will be held 10:00 AM Monday, April 15, 2019 at Ashland Memorial Park. Calling hours will not be observed.

In place of flowers, memorial contributions can be made in the form of donation to the family in care of Barkdull Funeral Home to help offset the funeral cost.
