To the family, my sincere condolences for the loss of your loved one. As you cope with your loss, may you find comfort in knowing that God promises to put an end to all the things that have plagued mankind for centuries including death (Revelation 21:3,4). May you find peace in knowing that your dear one is safe in the memory of God, who will remember every detail about them and bring them back again (Job 14:13,15). May these words from God's word, the Bible give you comfort now and strong hope for the future. Deepest sympathy.

Cathy and Jason, you probably don't remember me, but I knew your father very well from Donnelley (and a few establishments around town!) I want you to know that I always enjoyed having a drink with your dad and reminiscing of the "Donnelley Days" with him. He enjoyed talking with me and was a genuine guy. I can not be there for his service, but you, and all of his family and friends, are in my thoughts and prayers. May God wrap his arms around you and help you through the tough times that you have to go through!!

Cathy, Mike, Grace and Jason - Words cannot express the sorrow we feel at the passing of Bud. We have some wonderful memories of getting together with him and Ann. Bud was one of the first ones through the door at Kaple Printing following the flood of '87 and worked so hard to help us get the machinery up and running. He had a wonderful smile, which you can see in the photo with this obituary. And when you saw him out and about, he never failed to stop and ask how everyone was doing. He will be sadly missed by all who's lives he touched.
Love and prayers, Barb & Jan

Cathy and Jason, your Dad was an amazing person. He was quite, gentle, and loving to all those who knew him. Even though he always had a long range view of life, he took one day at a time. He was a friend to everyone and helped others in ways that will never be known except by those he helped, as he did his alms quietly and never boasted about his charity. He was also "human" as he had his faults, but the one thing that no one could accuse him of was not having a heart. When your Dad loved, he loved with his entre being and with his love came a loyalty that was eternal. He was so proud of both of you and even though he never bragged, the pride could be heard in his tone of voice and seen in his eyes when he talked about the two of you. He loved you as deeply as God himself loves his children. Anyone who knew your Dad and was close to him knows that this world was a lot kinder and more enjoyable with your Dad in it. He will be missed more than words can convey. God bless.
