Richard "Rick" Crist Obituary

Richard Alan "Rick" Crist, age 64, of Crestline passed away Thursday morning November 29, 2018, after a hard fought battle with cancer. His wife Debbie was by his side as always. Born July 27, 1954 in Mansfield to Wesley Gene & Alice Arlene (Snow) Crist, he was a 1972 graduate of Madison High School, a master mechanic, and a lover of all things racing. He especially loved dirt track racing which he was actively involved in from his teenage years to the last year of his life. Rick led a full life, he was a strong man who lived life on his own terms, and was never one to shy away from any situation. He will be sorely missed by his family and friends, although we know he is in a better place with his Lord Jesus Christ.

He is survived by his wife, Deborah (Finney) Crist whom he married June 27, 1998; his children, Richard (Alexis) Crist of Lucas and Jonathan (Mikki) Crist of Perrysville; his step children, Andrea (Brian) Presler of New Washington, Sarah Ranker of New Washington and Brad Weaver of Crestline; eight grandchildren; his siblings, Ronnie Crist of Ontario, Steve (Jenny) Crist of Mansfield, Shari Crist of Sayre, OK, Shelly (Kerry) Kern of Normal, IL and numerous nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

Per Rick's wishes there will not be any services following his death, but memorial expressions in his memory may be made to Ohio Health Hospice, 335 Glessner Avenue, Mansfield, OH 44903.
