Ross F. Marsh

Ross F. Marsh age 83, died Sunday, August 20, 2017 at Ohio Health Shelby Hospital.

Born May 27, 1934 in Loudonville, Ohio to Charles and Effie (Etzwiller) Marsh, he had been a Shelby resident for the majority of his life. A 1953 graduate of Shelby High School, Ross was a Veteran of the United States Navy, serving during the Korean Conflict. He had worked for Spitzer Motors as the Sales Manager before he and his brother became owner and operator of A&B Roofing in Florida.

Ross was a member of the Moose Lodge #1429 in Holiday, Fl and a member and trustee for the Shelby Eagles Post #763. He enjoyed fishing, golfing and trapshooting.

He is survived by his wife Sarah (Veard) Marsh, whom he wed September 23, 1961; five children, Douglas Marsh of Alliance, OH Denise (Finley) Barker of Alliance, Ohio, Sharon (Ken) Wagers of Shelby, Charles Marsh of Tampa, FL, and Shelley (Dan) Duncan of Holiday, FL; 12 grandchildren, 17 great-grandchildren and one great-grandson on the way; brother Larry Marsh of Massillion, OH; numerous nieces, nephews, and other relatives.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by an infant daughter, Susan Lee Marsh; three brothers and four sisters.

Calling Hours will be held from 4:00 to 6:00  PM Wednesday, August 23, 2017 at the Barkdull Funeral Home & Crematory in Shelby.
