Sanna K. Wells, 81, resident of Shelby died Friday December 14, 2018 in Crestwood Care Center. Born August 4, 1937 in Zanesville, Ohio to Malcolm and Eunice (Tucker) Culbertson she had been a Shelby resident since 1974.
She was a 1955 graduate of Cumberland High School and was a graduate of the Gail Institute Airline School in Minneapolis. Sanna was employed as a tele-typist for Northwest Orient Airlines and had been a dispatcher with CW Transport in Shelby.
Sanna was a talented musician who played multiple instruments. She enjoyed cooking and entertaining.
She is survived by her children Chantel Kay Leggett of Mansfield, OH and Douglas T. (Pam) Wells of New Lexington, OH; five grandchildren, Todd, Cory, Jodi, Brian, Cheyenne; four great-grandchildren Amelia, Penelope, Roman and Theo; her sister Emily (John) Hardner of Key West, FL. and other relatives.
In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband Ronald D. Wells in 2016. .
Funeral services will be held 10:30 Tuesday December 18, 2018 from the Barkdull Funeral Home and Crematory in Shelby. Pastor Douglas Wells her son, will officiate with interment in Ark Springs Baptist Cemetery in Chandlersville, OH. Friends may call at the funeral home Tuesday from 9:30 to 10:30 AM. In lieu of flowers memorial expressions may be made to the Alzheimers Association, 2131 Park Ave. W., Suite 123 Ontario, OH 44906.
