William L Roberts III

William L. "Bill" Roberts III, age 59, resident of Mansfield passed Tuesday, May 15, 2018 at Liberty Nursing Center in Mansfield.
Born September 5, 1958 in Shelby to William L. and Dixie (Johnson) Roberts he was a former resident of Willard and Shelby and for the past twenty five years had been a Mansfield area resident. He was a 1977 graduate of Shelby High School and was formerly employed as a security guard with MTD in Willard and then was employed with Milark Co. in Mansfield retiring in 2006.

Bill enjoyed hunting, fishing and being outdoors and especially spending time with his family. 

He is survived by his daughter, Crystal (Dustin) Sheriff of Mansfield; one granddaughter Sommar Sheriff; sister Robin Herndon of Perrysville; brother, Ronald (Marie) Pruiett of Dayton;  brothers-in-law, Ernest Hamm of Mansfield and Steve (Linda) Buckler of Paris, KY; sister-in-law, Shelia Presley of Raceland, KY; numerous nieces and nephews, special friends and other relatives.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife Charlotte Roberts in 2010.

A celebration of Bill's life will be held 3-5 PM Friday May 18, 2018 at the Barkdull Funeral Home and Crematory in Shelby.
