Kenneth Bond Obituary Kenneth Bond 'Paw' age 92 resident of Shelby died Sunday July 8, 2018 at his home surrounded by his loving family. Born December 30, 1925 in Olive Hill, KY to Richard and Letha (Garvin) Bond. After spending some time in Cincinnati, Kenny had returned back to Olive Hill to win over his beloved wife Helen of 68 years. He and Helen then moved back to Shelby in 1955, where he had worked at Mansfield Tire, Westinghouse, and Mansfield Steel Mill. Kenny was a member of the McDonalds Breakfast Club, and enjoyed going to auctions, gardening and spending time with his pets. He most of all cherished the time spent with his grandchildren. He is survived by his loving wife of 68 years, Helen Francis (Perry) Bond; their four children Vickie (George) Wollerton of Attica, Terry Bond of Mansfield, Sandra (Bob) Ramsey of Shelby, K. Doug (Cindy) Bond of Shelby; 10 grandchildren Robin (Paul) Willman, Becky Jenney, Sarah (Mads) Vanggaard, Tracy Bond, Natalie Bond, Angie (Jonas) Sndergrd, John Bond, Scott Ramsey, Hali (Kevin Baker) Ramsey, Stephanie Hawksworth; 8 great grandchildren Mollie, Austin, Camron, Lexy, Mason, Shane, Ella, and Lucca; brother Louie (Mary) Bond of Illinois; nieces, nephews and other relatives. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his son Dickie Allen Bond, and two half brothers. Friends may call at the Barkdull Funeral Home & Crematory in Shelby Wednesday, July 11, 2018 from 5:00 to 7:00 PM and Thursday July 12 from 11-1 PM. Funeral services will be held Thursday 1:00 PM follow the calling hours at the funeral home. Reverend Philip Green and Pastor Robbie Perry will officiate with interment held in Oakland Cemetery in Shelby.
