Anna Smith Obituary Anna Mae Smith, age 97, of Shelby died Friday, September 4, 2020 at Crestwood Care Center Born May 24, 1923 in Willard, Ohio to Joseph & Lizzie (Moomaw) Ryman, she has been a Shelby resident the majority of her life. Anna was a member of First Lutheran Church in Shelby and had worked at the Shelby Salesbook and at Crestwood Care Center. She enjoyed crocheting and playing the organ. She is survived by her daughter, Roberta (Terry) Boice of Shelby; grandchildren, Angie (Ken) Greter of Shelby, Randy (Patti) Boice of Shelby; great grandchildren, Abbie (Billy) Roberts, Rob (Charity) Lash; great great grandchildren, Quinton and Blakely Lash, Maylie and Raegan Roberts; her siblings, Mary Mock of Florida, Arlene Hill of Florida, Ramona Pennell of Shiloh, Louise Wurm of New Washington, Shirley Clawson of Tiro, and David Ryman of Shelby. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Lester Smith; two sisters, Norma Evans and Iona Olson; four brothers, Raymond, Stanley, Elmer and Paul Ryman. Friends may call at the Barkdull Funeral Home and Crematory in Shelby September 9, 2020 from 10:00 to 11:00 AM. Private family funeral service will be held. Pastor Diana Seaman will officiate with interment held in Oakland Cemetery It is requested that those visiting, please be brief, practice appropriate social distancing and wear a mask.
