Audrey E. Nethery, age 94, resident of Shelby, died Monday morning, September 1, 2014, at Shelby Pointe. Born March 5, 1920 in Cleveland, Ohio to John and Pauline (Lambert) Kutil, she was a long time resident of Cleveland moving to Shelby in 2011. Audrey was employed as a secretary working in the Cleveland area for many years retiring in 1985. She received much pride and enjoyment from being a homemaker. She is survived by two daughters, Lynn Reimer of Shelby, and Arlene (Gary) Robinson of Glendale, AZ; five grandchildren, Christy (Chris) Reimer Gray of Bay Village, Ohio, Butch (Kristin) Reimer of Oxford, AL, John (Kelli) Reimer of Tiro, Lee Robinson and Ross Robinson both of Glendale, AZ; eight great-grandchildren; her sister, Virginia Purnell of California; and other relatives. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of 69 years, Joseph Nethery. Graveside services will be held in Knollwood Cemetery, Mayfield Heights, Ohio with Reverend Bob Flint, of the First United Church of Christ, officiating. In lieu of flowers, memorial expressions may be made in Audrey's memory to Shelby Pointe Activity Fund, 100 Rogers Lane, Shelby, OH 44875. Barkdull Funeral Home, in Shelby, is assisting the family with arrangements.
