Barbara Bland Obituary Barbara Bland, age 79 of Shelby, Ohio, passed away Monday, August 9, 2021 at her home, surrounded by her loving family. She was born January 22, 1942 in Dalton, IL to Clarence and Henreitta (Mulder) Pfotenhauer. Barbara loved attending garage sales with her son, collecting owls and most of all, she cherished the time she spent with her family. She is survived by her loving husband, Bill Bland, whom she wed November 23, 1971; two children Kathy (Mike) Gardner of Willard and James (Bren) Elliott of Shelby eight grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; and one sister Marlene (Jerry) Jorsch of Dalton, IL. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her daughter Cristine Adkinson; five brothers and one sister. Per Barbara's wishes, calling hours will not be observed. A private family service will be held.
