Barbara Bledsoe Obituary Barabara Jean Bledsoe, age 69, resident of Shelby, died unexpectedly Friday, July 22, 2022. Born December 26, 1952, in Shelby to Denver K. and Beatrice 'June' (Johnson) Ingram, she had been a lifelong Shelby resident. She was a 1971 graduate of Shelby High School. Barbara was employed as a teller at First Federal Bank and also worked as a cashier at Great Scott. Barbara loved her plants, baking, doing hair, and playing games on her phone. She will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her. She is survived by her husband, Darrel Bledsoe whom she married August 19, 2000; daughter, Melissa (Sean) Harperink, of Cincinnati OH; one grandson Nickolaus Harperink; step-grandchildren Keith and Veronica Harperink; siblings, Debbie Langford of Tipp City, OH, Steven (Nancy) Ingram of Canton; half-brother Russ (Laurie) Ingram of New Bern, NC; step-siblings, Timmie (Brandi) Janezeck of King George, VA, and Theresa (Lance) Hickman of New Bern, NC; as well as numerous nieces, nephews, and other relatives. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her mother-in-law Mary Gray. A family memorial service will be held at a later date.
