Barbara Clingan Obituary Barbara Kay Clingan, age 71, passed away Friday, February 10, 2023, at Crystal Care Center in Mansfield, OH. Born April 19, 1951, to James and Eileen (Cole) Clingan in Mansfield, she was a 1969 graduate of Crestview High School. Barbara worked for many years as a nanny for families in Marion and Ashland. She enjoyed gardening, crafting, and cooking. She loved taking care of others and learned her skills from helping on the family farm where she lived. Barbara had a love for dogs and remembered many of the dogs her family had on the farm over the years. She especially loved her special friend, Raven. Barbara attended Mansfield First Church of the Brethren. She is survived by her brother Randy (Lisa) Clingan of Mansfield and her sister Diane Ringler of Brownwood, TX., nieces Crystal Dickerson and Bailey Clingan, nephews Mason Simmons, Blake Dickerson and Donovan Dickerson. Barbara was preceded in death by her parents, sister Debra Bell, brother-in-law Bob Bell and Steve Ringler, and niece Becky Clingan. Per Barbara's wishes, a family graveside service is planned with Pastor Tina Hunt. Burial will be at Franklin Cemetery Barkdull Funeral Home & Crematory in Shelby is honored to assist the family with arrangements.
