Barbara Crain Obituary Barbara J. Crain, age 60, of Shelby died in Ohio Health Shelby Hospital, Saturday August 3, 2019. Born on September 22, 1958 in Ashland to Charles Marcus and Bonnie (Michael) Duncan, she was a resident of Ashland for many years before moving to Shelby in 2018. She was a 1976 graduate of Mapleton High School and was employed at Abbot Labs in Ashland for several years. Barbara enjoyed spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren. She is survived by her beloved husband Ralph W. Crain; daughter Angelica Cornette of Connecticut; three sons, Joe Virgili of Shelby, Joe (Amber) Crain of Mansfield and David (Amy) Crain of St. Clairsville, OH; eight grandchildren; brother Dan (Beth) Duncan of Aiken, S.C; numerous nieces, nephews and other relatives. In addition to her parents, she is proceeded in death by her son Eric Virgili. A celebration of life service will be at held 10:00 AM Saturday August 10, 2019 at the Mansfield First Assembly of God, 1000 McPherson St. Mansfield, OH., 44903. Pastor Mark Lehman will officiate the services. Barkdull Funeral Home and Crematory in Shelby is assisting the family with arrangements. Memorial contributions may be made in care of the family.
