Brittany Canterbury Obituary Brittany A. Canterbury, age 31, resident of Shelby, passed away Thursday, June 16, 2022 at home following a lifelong medical condition. Born March 12, 1991 in Palms Springs, CA to Mark Scusselee and Tina (Canterbury) Huntington. Brittany was currently taking online classes to obtain a career in nursing. She was a Harry Potter fan and enjoyed reading. She was a free spirit and wanted to make a difference in the world and was always helping people. She loved singing and dancing, and spending time in the outdoors. Above all she cherished the time she spent with her family and friends, and playing with her kids. Brittany will always be remembered as a silly, fun loving, friend who had a heart of gold. In addition to her parents Mark and Tina, she is survived by her two beautiful children Asha (10) and Blake (4) Canterbury; sister Amber Canterbury of Euruka, CA, Courtney (Allen) Rowe-Lute of Shelby; brother Nathan Dietrich of Shelby; grandmother Annie Harvey of Shelby; numerous nieces, nephews and other relatives. She was preceded in death by her grandfather Edmond Ray Canterbury; adoptive grandparents Paul and Marlene Rowe; stepfather James Dietrich; step-grandfather Daniel Harvey and uncle Joe Canterbury.
