Cody Bruner Obituary Cody J Bruner, age 26 resident of Shelby died at his home February 27, 2022. Born June 10, 1995, in Biloxi, Mississippi to James Bruner and Chanelle (Thomas) Brown, he had been a resident of Shelby for the past 2 years, moving from Mansfield. A 2014 graduate of Madison High School, Cody was employed with Newman Technology and had been a member of the FOE #763. Cody enjoyed video gaming, playing disc golf, working outside doing various housing projects and Anime. He is survived by his father James Bruner of San Diego, CA; brother Brandon Bruner of Shelby; maternal grandparents Roy and Holly Thomas; paternal grandfather Pat Bruner; numerous friends, aunts, uncles, cousins and other relatives. He was preceded in death by his mother Chanelle (Thomas) Brown in 2014 and paternal grandmother Judith Ivko. A celebration of life will be held at a later date.
