Connie Dietz Obituary Connie Jean Dietz, age 70, died Thursday, August 27, 2020 at her home in Shelby. Born December 27, 1949 in Willard to Bruce and Mary Evelyn (Nagel) Johnson, she was a Shelby resident the majority of her life. A 1968 graduate of Shelby High School, she obtained her cosmetology degree and was employed with Shelby School System as a bus driver where she retired in 2016. Connie enjoyed working outside, gardening, landscaping and going out with her friends on day trips. She loved her canine friends, especially her dog Sadie. She is survived by her sons Andrew Dietz of Shelby and Calvin (Kayrn) Dietz III of Hudson, WI; grandchildren Tatam and Brody Dietz; three nieces, Annette, Denise and Amy; five nephews Bruce, George, Kevin, Craig and Dustin; her mother-in-law Alice Dietz; other close friends and relatives. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her beloved husband Calvin C. Dietz II who passed in 2014; two sisters Trudy Hartz and Carol Young. Private family services will be held at a later date.
