Conrad White Obituary Conrad 'Hal' White, age 81, of Shelby, passed away on Thursday, February 3, 2022, at his residence surrounded by his family.
Born July 21, 1940, in Athens, Ohio, to the late Judge Francis D. and Eleanor (Steenrod) White, he had been a Shelby resident for over fifty years. Hal served in the United States Army and attended Ohio University, he later owned and operated The Print Shoppe. Hal enjoyed being outdoors, he was a member of the Crawford County Coon Hunters and enjoyed fishing and shooting. He also liked playing poker.
Survivors include his wife, Mary June White, whom he wed on June 15, 1963; two sons, Keeven White of Akron, and Mark (Jill) White of Mansfield; five grandchildren, Peyton White, Kennedy White, Jessica Holladay, AJ Snell, and Mitch Snell; a great-granddaughter, Grier Holladay; three siblings, Sherry Maffin of Nelsonville, Doug White of Rome, GA, and David White of Delaware, OH; and many other nieces, nephews, and relatives.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two brothers, Larry White and Dee White.
Military honors will be provided by the Richland County Joint Veteran's at 4:45 p.m. on Tuesday, February 15, 2022, at the Barkdull Funeral Home & Crematory. Calling hours for family and friends will then take place on Tuesday from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. and a memorial service will immediately follow at 7:00p.m. Chaplain Chad Berry will officiate the services. There will be no burial at this time.
