Craig Forquer Obituary Craig A. Forquer, age 73, resident of Shelby, passed away Monday, January 27, 2025 at his home.
Born November 21, 1951 in Shelby to William and Mary (Willford) Forquer, he had lived the majority of his life in Plymouth. Craig was a proud United States Army Veteran and had served in Korea during the Vietnam War. He was a member of the Plymouth American Legion Post 447.
Craig was a huge dog lover. For years he would travel with his trophy wining Field Trial dogs, winning numerous competitions. His pride being 'Rodeo Bob' who was the Greatest #1 Field Trial dog in the circuit for many consecutive years.
He is survived by his two children, Jason Rettig of Willard, Carrie Howard of Plymouth; three sisters Connie (Jim) Jenkins of Nankin, OH, Kathy (Ernie) Ebersole of Greenwich, Karen Forquer of Marblehead; special friend Annabelle Howell and her son Ryan Howell; as well as numerous cousins whom he was very close to.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his good friend Ricky Weber.
The family wishes to give a heartfelt thank you to their cousin, Randy Adams. Without him their brother would not have had a pleasant life the past few years. They also would like to thank their sister Karen, Cornerstone Caregiving VA assistance, Southern Care Hospice in Ontario, and his personal care taker, Alivia Stevens.
Per Craig's wishes, services will not be observed.
In place of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the American Legion Post 447 at 112 Trux St, Plymouth, OH 44865 or the Humane Society of Richland County at 3025 Park Ave W, Mansfield, OH 44906.
