Cynthia Arter Obituary Cynthia Lynne Arter, age 76, died Wednesday, December 28, 2022, at her residence in Crestline. Born December 11, 1946 in Los Angles, CA to Donald and Kathryn Burling, she was a life long Shelby resident. A 1965 graduate of Shelby High School, she was employed as an insurance agent for State Farm, later she worked for Roby, Foster, Miller & Earick. Cynthia loved spending time with her family and helping with her grandkids. She is survived by her beloved husband James Arter whom she married June 19, 1965; daughter Kathryn (Matt) Ventrone of Shelby; grandchildren Tanner and Bentley Ernst and Parker Ventrone. She was preceded in death by her parents. Private family services will be held at the Barkdull Funeral Home officiated by Chaplain Chad Berry, followed by interment at Fairview Cemetery in Galion.
