Darlene Lux Obituary Darlene Lux passed away on Sunday, April 16, 2023, at Samaritan Hospital in Ashland. Born on July 6, 1949 to Mason and Dorothy (Bartrum) Blankenship in West Virginia, Darlene had been a Shelby resident for the majority of her life. Darlene was a proud homemaker and enjoyed cooking and baking for her family. She liked to attend church and was a member of Connect Church in Shelby. Her other hobby was gardening flowers and vegetables. She is survived by her daughter, Wendy Sperzel of Mansfield; grandchildren, Zachary (Amber) Lux of Plymouth, Tatum Caudill of Columbus, and Kaitlyn Sperzel of Mansfield; great-grandson, Owen Lux; as well as one on the way, Declan Lux; and several siblings as well as other relatives and friends. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her loving husband George Lux; as well as multiple siblings. Services will not be observed.
