Dawn Schiffer Obituary Dawn Schiffer, age 84, died Thursday, May 19, 2022, at Avita Health System-Ontario, Ohio, following a brief illness. Born January 29, 1938, to Harold and Marian (Wolfe) Matthews and had been a lifelong area resident. She graduated from Mansfield Senior High School in 1956. Dawn was employed with AMF and retired from MTD in Willard. She was a very family-oriented lady. Her friends and family meant everything to her. Dawn enjoyed being with her loved ones as much as possible. Taking photos was a hobby that Dawn had, but she did not care for her picture being taken. She loved being near the water and visited the beach whenever she could. Dawn will be missed and remembered fondly by all who knew and loved her. Survivors include her daughter Stacy Crosby; grandchildren Jim Moyer, Tami Moyer-Baker, Charlie Moyer, Russel Crosby, and Josh Crosby; great-grandchildren Brayden Moyer, Bryce Baker, Kyleigh Baker, Luka Mosier, Leia Crosby, Braylee Moyer, and Carsen Crosby; sister Donna Frintzilas of Long Island, NY; as well as many other relatives and friends. In addition to her parents, Dawn was preceded in death by her husband Charles 'Chasmo' Schiffer in 2003, they had wed August 4, 1962; and her brother-in-law Gus Frintzilas.
