Deloris Somerville Obituary Deloris J. Somerville, age 98 resident of Shelby, died March 8, 2022 at the Kingston of Ashland Nursing Home. Born July 10, 1923 in Marion, Ohio to Ralph and Emma (Mason) Augenstein, she had been a Shelby resident since 1946. A 1941 graduate of Galion High School, she was formerly employed with First National Bank in Galion, the Citizens Bank in Shelby and the Shelby Building and Loan retiring in 1985. She was a member of the First United Methodist Church and the MOM Mothers Club. Deloris enjoyed crafting, painting, reading, knitting and spending her winter months in Florida. She is survived by her daughter Lynn (Jeff) Love of Shelby, one son David (Theresa) Somerville of Wills Point, Texas; three granddaughters Emily Grace Somerville of Wills Point, TX, Jamie (McKinley) Jones-Fitzgerald of Cottonwood Heights, Utah, Christina (Justin) Long, of Murray, Utah; one sister Mary Ann (Jim) Romine of Galion; nieces, nephews and other relatives. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Dwight W. Somerville, in 2016; one sister Dorothy Felter; one brother Clarence Muth; an infant brother Lee Muth; Visitation will be held Monday, March 14, 2022 at the Barkdull Funeral Home & Crematory in Shelby from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM. Funeral services will be held following visitation at 1:00 PM from the funeral home. Reverend David Sipes will officiate with interment in Oakland Cemetery.
