Donald Gough Obituary Donald G. Gough, age 91, passed away Tuesday, November 30, 2021, at Avita Health System- Galion Hospital. He was born March 9, 1930, in Grafton, West Virginia to Everett and Elva (Reed) Gough. He was a former resident of Shelby and Corinth, Texas and had resided in Mansfield for the last 4 1/2 years. A 1948 graduate of Grafton High School, he went on to serve our country in France during the Korean Conflict with the U.S. Army. He was formerly employed with UFORMA Shelby Business Forms as the Vice President of Method Engineering. Don enjoyed a good round of golf, traveling, and riding his scooter. His lifelong hobby was anything to do with cars. Most of all he loved spending time with his family. Survivors include his loving wife of 33 years Sharron (Beer) Gough; four children Becky (Rob) Brockman of Durango, Colorado; Gary (Donna) Gough of Tampa, Florida; Billie (Scott) Lewis of St. Augustine Florida; and Ann (David) Lamb of Sammamish, Washington; grandchildren Megan, Rylin, Lauren, Leslie, Brad, Seth, Sarah, Katie, and Jessica; six great-grandchildren; one brother Paul Gough of Mansfield; one sister Vonda Reed of Aurora, Ohio; and many nieces, nephews, and other relatives. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two brothers Everett and Robert Gough. Private family interment will take place in St. Peter's Cemetery on German Church Road in Mansfield. A memorial service will be held with full military honors provided by Richland County Joint Veterans Burial Detail at 11:00 AM Friday December 10, 2021, at the Barkdull Funeral Home & Crematory in Shelby. Pastor James Robinson will officiate. Followed by a Celebration of Life at Hudson & Essex on East Fourth Street in Mansfield, at 1:00 PM.
