Doris Agnes Noel, age 88, passed away Friday, October 17, 2025 at the Jag Health Care Nursing Facility in Shelby.

She was born on December 18, 1936 to Jerome and Julia (Eberl) Meyer in North Auburn, OH and had been a Mansfield area resident the majority of her life. Doris was a former employee of ITT North Electrical in Galion where she retired with over 30 years of service. She later worked at Cortland Industries in Mansfield. Doris was a member of the Most Pure Heart of Mary Catholic Church and enjoyed playing bingo and watching NASCAR races.

Doris is survived by her two sisters Joan (Richard) Bowman and Ruth Noel both of Shelby; as well as numerous nieces, nephews, and other relatives.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Darrell E. Noel who died on August 4, 1969.

Per Doris's wishes, a private graveside service will be held at a later date in Auburn Cemetery.
