Frank attended Bethany College and Ashland College, before enlisting in the Navy, and was stationed in Japan during the Korean War. After he was discharged, he finished college at Ohio Wesleyan University, and went on to earn a Juris Doctor degree at Ohio Northern University in 1959. He was admitted to the bar in the same year. Frank enjoyed the good life to the end. He liked to travel and did so often with family and friends. As a dedicated bon vivant, he especially enjoyed good company for shared dining experiences whether in restaurants or at home. His love and knowledge of food, drink, jazz, and classical music were legendary in some circles. His humor, good nature, and love of celebration will be missed.
A private family graveside service will be held in Oakland Cemetery in Shelby at a later date.
