Freda Bridges Obituary Freda L. Bridges, age 69, resident of Mansfield died Sunday, November 17, 2024 at Ohio Health Mansfield Hospital. Born December 12, 1954 in Minden, Louisiana to Willie and Linda (Cox) Bridges she was a resident of Virginia for many years before moving to Ohio in 1999. Ms. Bridges was employed with Newhope Industries. Freda had a big heart and was known for being very polite, courageous, sweet, but also sour. A true sour patch. She loved her pickles and cheeseburgers and drinking Pepsi. She adored anything that was red and enjoyed reading, dancing, working on coloring books and word searches and watching her favorite show, Sponge Bob. Survivors include her sister, Frances Yosick of Bellville; two brothers, Kenneth (Linda) Bridges of Arkansas; Willie (Karen) Bridges, Jr. of Arkansas; nieces, nephews and other relatives. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sister Twyla Bridges and brother-in-law David Yosick. A memorial service will be held 10:00 AM Friday, November 29, 2024 at the Barkdull Funeral Home & Crematory in Shelby. Pastor A.J Bringear will officiate with interment held in Oakgrove Memorial Park in Lexington. In place of flowers, donations may be made in Freda's memory to Richland Newhope Industries, 314 Cleveland Avenue, Mansfield, Ohio 44902.
