Grover Gregory Obituary Grover Cleveland Gregory, age 76, died Sunday, February 20, 2022 at Firelands Regional Medical Center in Sandusky. Born July 3, 1945 in Morehead, Kentucky to the late Lige and Sarah (Link) Gregory. Grover had been employed with the City of Shelby Street Department until his retirement. He enjoyed trap and still shooting, camping and bluegrass music. Most of all, Grover loved spending time with his family and friends. He is survived by his daughter, Tina (Brown) Gregory of Shiloh; three sons, Dwight (Brandi) Gregory of Shelby, Charles (Rhonda) Gregory of Conroe, TX and Mitchell (Shannon) Gregory of Mansfield; nine grandchildren, Julius Zehner, Kevin Manley, Casey Conley, Zachary Brown, Elijah (Morgan) Brown, Dominick Spencer, Gavin Spencer, Seth Spencer and Dezeree Garcia; great-grandchildren Adalyn, Audrey, McKinlee, Ella, and 'His Little Buddy' Branson Riley. In addition to his parents, Grover was preceded in death by his wife of 40 years Penny (Burkett) Gregory who died January 10, 2009, and daughter Tammy Manley who died August 9, 2016. Friends may visit at the Barkdull Funeral Home & Crematory to express sympathy Wednesday, February 23, 2022 from 5:00 PM to 6:00 PM. A memorial service will immediately follow at 6:00 PM with Pastor Rich Hurles officiating from the funeral home.
